Although a prolific composer, many of Miné's compositions are now almost completely forgotten. His work has to be connected with the catholic revival movement and the restoring of the kingdom after the French Revolution since Napoleon’s Concordat in 1815. This music is very interesting, being a transition between the French organists from the late 18th century and the great romantic French organ school. It is a fascinating link to the organ music of e.g. Lefébure-Wely and Lemmens.
